For the first time, teachers and learners are able to search the full-text of the entire newspaper, including articles, editorials, pictures and advertising.

The Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985 enables teachers and learners to look at key events in history as they were reported, analyse the impact of the major protagonists and learn about important episodes as they took place rather than just from the historical perspective.

From Einstein to Oscar Wilde, from Oliver Twist to 1984, from Queen Victoria to the partition of India and Pakistan, from the Russian Revolution to the Cultural Revolution, The Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985 provides coverage of local and international news as it took place.
